Get ready for an exhilarating experience as we gear up for year four of our Girls Lacrosse Day Camps! Building on over 30 years of successful traditional camps, our Girls camps promise to deliver an exceptional blend of skill-building, camaraderie, and fun. Led by coach Kara Concheck, our camp brings unparalleled expertise and passion to the field. Concheck is a prominent figure in the Columbus, Ohio lacrosse scene. A native of Upper Arlington, Kara played at The Wellington School and was named the Head Women’s Lacrosse coach at Capital University in 2024. Kara was also the head coach at Major Force Lacrosse Club for five years and is dedicated to nurturing skills and fostering a deep love for the game among young players.
At our camp we prioritize personalized instruction, ensuring that every participant receives the attention they deserve. To facilitate optimal learning, our sessions are deliberately kept small, allowing for tailored guidance based on each player’s age and skill level. Kara Concheck - Camp Director
We are excited to welcome Kara Concheck as the Director of our Girls Lacrosse Academy. Concheck is a native of Upper Arlington, Ohio and brings nearly a decade of women's lacrosse collegiate coaching experience to the field, included nine years at the NCAA Division 1 level. She currently serves as the Head Women’s Lacrosse Coach at Capital University, and previously held head coaching positions at Saint Francis University, Fresno State University, and Winthrop University. Throughout her career, Concheck has been recognized for her ability to build and enhance competitive programs, consistently developing All-Conference, All-Region, and All-American student-athletes. She also maintains strong experience in the elite camp and clinic scene, with programs such as Stanford, James Madison, Penn State, Virginia, and more. Additionally, Concheck serves as the Head Coach for the 2028's for Impact Lacrosse.
Concheck was a standout midfielder at Fresno State University, where she earned All-Conference, Offensive Player of the Year honors, and was a Deans List student-athlete. She received her Bachelor’s degree in Adventure Recreation and Environmental Studies, and her Masters in Strategic and Organizational Leadership.heights in their lacrosse journeys
Bevelhymer Park in New Albany, Ohio offers 145-acres including 32 fields for baseball, softball, soccer, football, and lacrosse. The complex also offers restroom facilities and shelters. This camp location was selected for the quality of its facilities and its convenient location for lacrosse players throughout Central Ohio.
